BARTLESVILLE, Okla. —
Colton Jackson had rounds of 80 and 78 for a 36-hole score of 158 to lead Enid’s boys to an eighth-place finish at the Bartlesville golf tournament Monday at Adams Golf Course.
The Plainsmen, in their second 36-hole tournament, had a team score of 673 with a 338 in the morning and a 335 in the afternoon.
Scott Phillips had rounds of 84 and 83 for a 167. Other EHS scores were Mason North (83-85-168), Michael Houston (91-89-180) and Chris Hayes (96-94-190).
“We played good in sports,’’ said EHS coach David Lee. “Colton played pretty good and Scott Phillips played pretty good. Scott came out late from wrestling, but the more he plays, the better he’s getting.’’
Houston lowered his scores as well.
“The scores are getting lower,’’ Lee said. “Hopefully, we can do that on Thursday (when the Plainsmen go to Guthrie).’’
