Jones injured in PC-H loss

KINGSTON — Red Oak upset No. 2-ranked and defending state champion Lomega 66-52 in the Class B Area IV winners bracket girls finals Friday. The Lady Raiders get a second chance today against Midway or Bokoshe.


OKLAHOMA CITY — Shawnta Johnson and Tala Barnett each had 11 points as Hennessey’s girls eliminated Merritt in a Class 2A regional losers bracket semifinal. The Lady Eagles face the Wellston-Sayre winner at 1:30 today.


OKLAHOMA CITY — Travis Hartfield’s 15 points lifted Watonga’s boys past Hennessey 39-36 in a 2A losers bracket semifinal. Gage Kroll had 14 points and Junior Pina 13 in a losing cause for Hennessey (16-7) as its season came to an end


Rejoice Christian eliminated Mooreland’s boys from the Class 2A playoffs, 47-41 at Chisholm High School despite a 16-point effort from Landon Peach.
