Pacers 12th at Edmond Sante Fe golf

EDMOND, Okla. — Sydney Davenport became the first Enid player to break 90 this season when she had an 89 at the Edmond Santa Fe girls golf tournament at Kickingbird Golf Club.

The Pacers had a team score of 390 to finish 12th overall. Other EHS scores were Madilyn Young, 97; Baylee Roberts, 102; Madison Boler, 102; and Baylee Corderman, 114.

“Sydney had a nice round,’’ said Enid coach David Lee. “We didn’t have a bad day. The greens were pretty slick and we had too many three-putts. We need to work on our chipping and putting.’’

Enid’s next tournament will be at Stillwater Monday.
