ENID, Okla. —
Cold weather has set back Northern Oklahoma College Enid’s scheduled baseball doubleheader with Independence, Kan., to Thursday.
“The wind chil was supposed to be in the 30s,’’ said NOC Enid coach Raydon Leaton. “It’s supposed to be in the 60s Thursday, so we just moved it to then.’’
The Jets (2-10) will try again at 3 p.m. today, when they host Cowley County in a scheduled nine-inning game at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
Christian Lafontan is scheduled to pitch for the Jets.
