Enid’s volleyball team will gets some frequent travel points this week.
The No. 14-ranked Pacers (9-3) will visit Tulsa Regent Prep tonight and unraked Norman Tuesday. Enid has won nine of its last 10 matches.
“We just want to play a complete game and continue play like we have the last couple of matches,’’ said Enid coach Steve Bloom. “We have been playing good defense and serving well, so hopefully, everything turns out okay.’’
It will be the first-ever meeting between Enid and Regent Prep.
Enid softball team looks
to repeat win over rival
Enid’s softball team will be going for its fourth straight win at 5 p.m. today when the Pacers visit Stillwater.
The Pacers will be trying to repeat a 3-2 win over the Lady Pioneers in the third-place game of the El Reno Tournament.

Enid (5-7) is riding a season-high three-game winning streak.
“We’re pumped,’’ said Enid coach Marsha Cusack. “I think we’re sronger at the plate and on the mound than they are, so if we don’t make too many errors or mistakes, it should be a pretty good game. It’s always a big game when we play Stillwater.’’
The Pacers will host district rival Midwest City at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Wheat Capital champion Jay Betchan won the Meadowlake Men’s Golf Association Club Championship Sunday with a 36-hole score of 139. He shot a three-under par 68 Sunday to go with his 71 on Saturday. Jon Cline (72-68) was second at 140.
Stan Botts was the low net at 128.
Henson Oakwood champ
Walker Henson won the Oakwood Country Club club championship Sunday with a 141.
Henson also won the junior division.
Craig Collins was the senior division winner with a 36-hole score of 145.

Northern Oklahoma College Enid Jets’ Winter Baseball Camp is now taking sign-ups. Hitting camp is Dec. 21 from 9 a.m. to noon and camp for pitchers and catchers is Dec. 22 from 1-3 p.m.
