MIDWEST CITY, Okla. —
Damion Neiswanger and Tabor Charles combined for a three-hitter as the Enid Majors beat Putnam City North 5-2 in a late game Saturday night at the Oklahoma Outlaws Memorial Day Tournament.
Neiswanger allowed only three hits and struck out seen over five innings. He gave up two runs and walked three.
Charles threw two scoreless innings in relief to get a save. He struck out three, walked one and gave up two hits.
Enid scored two runs in the first to take a 2-0 lead and never looked back. The Majors added a run in the third and two in the fifth to raise their record to 4-1.
Cole Floyd had a triple for the Majors. Junior Obesco went 2-for-3. He scored a run, drove in another and stole two bases.
Enid will face Bethany in a pool play today.
