Volleyers entertain Sapulpa in home finale

ENID, Okla. — Six seniors will be playing their last home match for Enid tonight at 6 when the Pacers host Sapulpa at the Waller Middle School gym.

Chloe Cordell, Shaelyn Vaughn, Sarah Blakley, Grace Enmeier, Brianna Burrow and Lauren Millsap will be playing in front of the home folks for the final time.

“Everybody hates to see the seniors leave,’’ said Enid coach Steve Bloom. “I hope we have a big crowd for their final home match.’’

The seniors formally were recognized for Senior Night Sept. 12 against Ponca City.

Enid, 21-10 and ranked No. 14, will take a two-match win streak against Sapulpa (4-11).

The visitors have lost six straight matches.

The Pacers visit Deer Creek Edmond (24-5), ranked No. 3 in Class 5A Tuesday in their regular season finale.
