EHS netters have 2 11th-place finishers

TULSA, Okla. —  Enid’s boys had two 11th-place finishes at the Union tennis tournament Monday at the Shadow Mountain Racquet Club.

Jason Christopherson and Connor Angleton, playing their second tournament together, were 11th at No. 1 doubles. They are 4-4 together as a team.

Koderick Miller went 2-2 in finishing 11th at No. 2 singles. That raised his record to 5-14.

Tyler Hallett and Blake Young, playing together for the first time at No. 2 doubles, were 12th. Zach Kensinger was 15th at No. 1 singles.

“I thought we played well,’’ said Enid assistant coach Carl Gaebler. “We had a good day overall in doubles. They seemed comfortable with each other as partners.’’

The Acers go to the Union girls tournament today, weather permitting.
