Chisholm cagers entertain Hennessey

ENID, Okla. — Chisholm’s boys will be looking to end a four-game losing streak tonight when the Longhorns host Hennessey in the second half of a girls-boys basketball doubleheader.

The girls will tip off at 6:30 p.m., followed by the boys at 8.

Chisholm, 3-6, is trying to come back from a 58-38 loss to Fairview Friday. Reid Weber leads the offensive attack with a 10.3 points per game average. Hennessey, 5-2, is riding a four-game winning streak after beating Waukomis 73-50 Friday. Gage Kroll is the Eagles’ leading scorer with a 16.5 average.

Chisholm’s girls, 5-4, will try to bounce back from Friday’s 54-21 loss to defending state champion Fairview. Megan Galusha is the top scorer with a 12.3 average.

Hennessey, 7-0, is allowing only 32.1 points per game. Kinsey Reeves (17.8 ppg) and Shawnta Johnson (15.2) lead the offense.
