Seven wrestlers remain alive

BIXBY, Okla. — Seven Enid wrestlers remained alive in consolations at the Class 6A regional championships Friday.

Billy Grothe needs to win one more match today to qualify (top four). Needing two are 145-pounder Anthony Gonzales, 152-pounder Keegan Clayton, 182-pounder Andy Reyes, 195-pounder Zach Overbeck, 220-pounder Jake Scott and heavyweight Mason Dillard.

“We have some guys who are where they need to be in the bracket and we have some guys who face a tougher road,’’ said EHS coach Jory Dick. “Anything is possible.’’

We have to take it one match at a time.’’
