NOC Enid cagers back in action

ENID, Okla. — Northern Oklahoma College Enid’s basketball teams return to action tonight at the Mabee Center after a long holiday layoff.

The Lady Jets (9-5) host Trinidad (Colo.) at 5 p.m. in their first action since defeating Independence, Kan., 73-63 on Dec. 7.

Trinidad is 9-5 after upsetting No. 15-ranked Western Nebraska 80-69 on Dec. 14. Both teams have lost to NOC Tonkawa — the Lady Jets 80-74 on Dec. 3 and the Lady Trojans 90-73 on Nov. 9.

Trinidad is led by freshman guard Kori Eurich, who is averaging 15.9 points per game. The Lady Jets are led by Breck Clark (19.4) and Rylie Swanson (14.7).

The Jets (9-4) host On Point Hoops, a prep school based in Oklahoma City, at 7 p.m.

The Jets are led by Ben Berry (15.9), Daryck Jones (12.9) and Cornell Neal (11.4).

Both NOC Enid teams return to Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference action Thursday at Murray State.
