Stewart stars in Chisholm victory

ENID, Okla. — Chisholm won its third game of the year Friday, stopping Crooked Oak 35-14 in a non-district contest at Longhorn Stadium.

Bryce Stewart ran for 241 yards on 16 carries for the Longhorns, scoring once on a 44 yard run.

Quarterback Tabor Charles threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Downard and ran 3 yards for another score.

Brock Chance and Justin Pfrehm also scored for Chisholm, which led 23-6 at the half.

Chance also had a big game on defense with 13 tackles. Matt Wilson, with 10 tackles, and Brady Nelson, with nine tackles, also helped to shut down Crooked Oak.

The Longhorns are 3-3 on the season and will return to district play at Perry.

TEXHOMA 54, OBA 6

Texhoma’s Bryson Beattie scored five touchdowns to lead Texhoma to a 54-6 win over Oklahoma Bible Academy in a District A-1 game.

Beattie’s touchdown runs covered 7, 61, 2, 78 and 55 yards. The Red Devils ran for 508 yards.

OBA’s only score came in the fourth quarter on a 2-yard run by Randal Nesom.

The win boosts Texhoma to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in district. OBA falls to 1-5 and 1-2.

LAVERNE 46, WAUKOMIS 0

WAUKOMIS — Gage Murphy scored two touchdowns as Laverne beat Waukomis 46-0 in a District B-1 game.

Murphy’s scores came on passes of 45 and 17 yards from Tucker Rolf.

The Tigers ended the game at the half on the 45-point mercy rule.

Trevor Harris, Dalton Birch, Jake Fanning and Tanner Allen also scored for Laverne.

Undefeated Laverne remains tied atop the district with a 5-0 record. The Tigers are 6-0 overall. Waukomis is 1-5 overall and 0-5 in district.

OKEENE 55, TURPIN 0

OKEENE — Scott Dobrinski, Chance Bedwell and Trent Turner scored two touchdowns each as Okeene routed Turpin 55-0 in a District A-1 contest.

Dobrinski ran 13 and 3 yards for his scores. Bedwell’s scoring runs covered 16 and 21 yards, while Turner’s were from 20 and 14 yards.

The win boosts Okeene to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in district. Turpin is 0-6 and 0-3.

CHEROKEE 52,

CLAREMORE CHRISTIAN 6

CHEROKEE — Josh Argraves and Austin Guffy scored two touchdowns apiece as Cherokee beat Claremore Christian 52-6 in a District C-3 contest.

Argraves ran 45 and 39 yards for scores, while Guffy ran 11 and 32 yards for scores. Guffy rushed for 192 yards, and Argraves ran for 103.

The win keeps the Chiefs undefeated at 6-0 and 5-0.

FORGAN 56, BOISE CITY 6

FORGAN — Trevin Lopez scored three touchdowns to lead Forgan to a 56-6 win over Boise City in District C-1.

KINGFISHER 63,

JOHN MARSHALL 0

KINGFISHER — Landon Nault scored five touchdowns as Kingfisher beat John Marshall 63-0 in a District 3A-1 game.

Nault ran for touchdowns of 14, 1, 3 and 19 yards. He also returned a punt 57 yards for a score.

Jake Blair caught touchdown passes of 40 and 41 yards from Grant Newton.

The Yellowjackets improve to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in district.

FAIRVIEW 71, HOOKER 18

FAIRVIEW — Grant Nightengale threw three touchdown passes and ran for two scores as Fairview remained undefeated with a 71-18 win over Hooker in a District A-1 game.

Nightengale threw scoring passes of 46 and 13 yards to Michael Christopher and 52 yards to Ross Smith. Nightengale ran 36 and 89 yards for scores.

The win boosts the Yellowjackets to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in district. Hooker is 3-3 and 1-2.

COV-DOUGLAS 50, MEDFORD 14

MEDFORD — Quenten Thayer ran for two touchdowns and threw for two as Covington-Douglas beat Medford 50-14 in a District B-1 game.

Thayer ran 75 and 47 yards for scores. His touchdown passes were 13 yards to Alan Wilson and 57 yards to Gage Smith. Smith also ran for two touchdowns.

Medford’s touchdowns came on runs by Blake Shuster and Tanner Misak.

The Wildcats improve to 4-2 overall and 3-2 in district. Medford falls to 0-6 and 0-5.

BART WESLEYAN 42, DCLA 20

BARTLESVILLE — Brian Deal ran for five touchdowns to lead Bartlesville Wesleyan to a 42-20 win over Deer Creek-Lamont in a District C-3 contest.

Christian Looper scored on runs of 16 and 5 yards for DCLA. Lawson Thompson also ran 38 yards for a touchdown for the Eagles.

WOODWARD 37, ELGIN 35

ELGIN — Jesus Munoz kicked a 27-yard field goal as Woodward edged Elgin 37-35 in a District 4A-1 game.

The game was a seesaw affair as the lead changed hands six times.

The win improves the Boomers to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in district.

RINGWOOD 60, CANTON 34

CANTON — Eudaldo Gomez ran for five touchdowns to lead Ringwood to a 60-34 win over Canton in a District B-1 game. Gomez ran for 243 yards. Moses Barcenas added 163 yard rushing and two scores for the Red Devils.

The win improves Ringwood to 3-3 overall and 2-3 in district. Canton falls to 2-4 and 1-4.

TYRONE 44, KREMLIN-HILLSDALE 0

KREMLIN — Tyrone defeated Kremlin-Hillsdale 44-0 in a non-district game.

The loss drops the Broncs to 2-4 on the season. The Broncs will play at Timberlake next week.

WATONGA 49, PIONEER 14

WATONGA — Watonga defeated Pioneer 49-14 in a District A-3 game.

The win improves the Eagles to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in district. Pioneer falls to 0-6 and 0-2.
