Bartlesville sweeps Majors

ENID, Okla. — Josh Moore went 4-for-5 with two triples and three RBI as the Bartlesville Doegnes Ford Indians beat the Enid Majors 13-7 in the first game of a doubleheader at David Allen Memorial Ballpark Saturday.

The Indians pounded out 14 hits scoring three runs in the first, third and sixth, two in the fifth and one in the second and fourth.

Enid, down 10-1, scored five runs in the fifth to avoid losing by the eight-run rule.

Tyler Yardley went the distance in getting the win. He had to throw only 11 pitches in the first two innings.

Bartlesville won the second game 10-8.

The two losses dropped Enid’s record to 24-12.

The two teams will play a 1 p.m. doubleheader today at David Allen.
