STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State running back Devon Thomas has been charged with three felonies stemming from an alleged armed robbery last month.
The Tulsa World reports that Thomas is set to be arraigned Friday on charges of shooting with intent to kill, robbery with a firearm and first-degree burglary. He was released on $190,000 bond.
A Broken Arrow Police Department report says the victim of the May 27 robbery told officers Thomas robbed him at gunpoint. The victim said at least three other people were involved.
One suspect also fired into the victim's vehicle as he was trying to leave.
Police say Thomas denied the allegations.
An OSU spokesman didn't immediately respond to an email from the AP seeking comment.
Thomas is a freshman who enrolled early for the spring semester.
