MOORE, Okla. —
The Enid Majors and Cleveland County Boomers didn’t resolve anything in a Les Beckham League game Tuesday.
The game was suspended after 10 innings with the game tied 4-4. There were no lights at the Hillsdale Baptist College field.
The game will resume July 12 in the 11th inning when the Boomers come to Enid. It was the second 10-inning game the Majors had played in the last two days. Enid beat the Southwest Shockers 4-3 in 10 innings Monday.
Enid tied the game with single runs in the eighth and ninth innings.
Junior Obeso led the attack, going three-for-five with an RBI and a run scored. Silvano Tarango was 2-for-2 with a RBI and run scored. Claytin Beaver was 2-for-4 with a double and RBI. Cole Floyd was 2-for-5 with a run scored.
“With these wood bats, combined with good pitching on both sides, it makes for close-scoring games,’’ said Majors coach Chris Jensen.
The Majors will host Alva in a nine-inning game at 7 tonight at David Allen Memorial Ballpark. The game can be heard on KCRC Radio (1390 AM).
The Majors will be off Thursday night.
