ENID, Okla. — Enid’s boys tennis team lost to Mother Nature Monday.

Wet weather forced the Class 6A regional tennis tournament, scheduled for Monday at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center, to be rescheduled to today.

“That just means we’ll have one less day of preparation for state,’’ said Enid coach Darrell Herndon. “Instead of having two days to get all the seeding information, I’ll just have one.’’

The Plainsmen will stick with its lineup of Daniel Martinez, No. 1 singles; Blake Young, No. 2 singles; Ryan Leap and Connor Angleton, No. 1 doubles; and Zach Gwin and Tyler Hallett, No. 2 doubles.

Chisholm’s regional at the Earlywine Tennis Center in Oklahoma City also was postponed to today.
