Kristian Stitt scored two touchdowns Friday to lead Oklahoma Bible Academy to a 19-13 District A-1 win over Mooreland at Commitment Field.
Still scored on runs of 10 and 5 yards as the Trojans led 12-7 at the half. Adrian Moore caught a 42-yard pass from Preston Atwood.
Landon Peach scored on a 75-yard kickoff return for Mooreland. Kyler Hensley scored on a 1-yard run for the Bearcats.
The Trojans improve to 2-2 overall and 1-0 in district. Mooreland falls to 3-1 and 0-1.
PIONEER 42, SNYDER 26
SNYDER — Pioneer won for the first time this season, beating Snyder 42-26 on the road.
The Mustangs improve to 1-3 with the win. They will play host to Cashion next week.
COVINGTON-DOUGLAS 34, CANTON 22
COVINGTON — Hunter Carl threw four touchdown passes and Covington-Douglas rallied to beat Canton 34-22 in a District B-1 contest.
Carl’s scoring passes covered 10 and 51 yards to Conner Nunley and 5 and 64 yards to Dylan Daugherty. Nunley also scored on a 1-yard run.
Canton’s M.J. White Eagle threw three touchdown passes for Canton, covering 38 yards to Caleb Pate, 41 yards to Chase Hysell and 25 yards to Wade Webb.
SEILING 61, WAUKOMIS 50
SEILING — Seiling won a wild 61-50 Class B-1 matchup over Waukomis.
The teams went back and forth throughout the game.
Justus Crites returned two kickoffs for touchdowns for Waukomis, one of 95 yards and one of 76 yards.
The win improves Seiling to 2-2 overall and 2-1 in district. Waukomis is 1-3 overall and 0-3 in district.
POND CREEK-HUNTER 38, MEDFORD 0
POND CREEK — Trent Grimes and Zach Rayner scored two touchdowns each as Pond Creek-Hunter beat Medford 38-0 in a District B-1 matchup.
Grimes scored on runs of 6 and 13 yards. Rayner caught scoring passes of 67 and 35 yards from Josh Irvin. Harley Comeau scored on a 25-yard runs for the Panthers.
PC-H improves to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in district. The Panthers have given up just six points all season.
Medford is 0-4 overall and 0-3 in district.
HENNESSEY 38, TULSA NOAH 14
HENNESSEY — William Arndt scored four touchdowns to lead Hennessey to a 38-14 win over Tulsa NOAH. Arndt scored on runs of 49, 8, 3 and 43 yards. Tony Mendoza threw a pair of touchdown passes, 18 yards to Jose Sanchez and 51 yards to Steven Lott. The win boosts the Eagles to 3-1.
LAVERNE 62, RINGWOOD 0
RINGWOOD — Defending Class B champion Laverne won its 18th straight game, beating Ringwood 62-0.
The game ended at the half on the 45-point mercy rule.
The Tigers rolled up 40 points in the first period. Tucker Rolf and Lane Lovell each scored two touchdowns in the opening stanza. Laverne improves to 4-0 and 3-0 in District B-1. Ringwood falls to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in district.
KINGFISHER 35, HERITAGE HALL 0
OKLAHOMA CITY — Kingfisher turned a battle of Class 3A powers into a rout, beating Heritage Hall 35-0.
Landon Nault scored four touchdowns, on runs of 15, 17, 8 and 65 yards. He had 199 yards rushing.
Brady Smith added the other score on a 39-yard interception return. The win boosts the Yellowjackets, ranked No. 2 in Class 3A, to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in District 3A-3. Heritage Hall, which was ranked No. 10, falls to 1-3 and 0-1.
CHEROKEE 48, BARTLESVILLE WESLEYAN 0
BARTLESVILLE — Tanner Ducotey and Austin Guffy scored two touchdowns each as Cherokee defeated Bartlesville Wesleyn 48-0. Ducotey scored on a 21-yard run and a 58-yard pass from Tanner Bowman. Austin Guffy scored on runs of 26 and 63 yards. Bowman, Alex Castro and Cole DeWitt also scored for the Chiefs, who are 4-0 overall and 3-0 in District C3. Cherokee, ranked No. 2 in Class C, has not given up a point this season.
The win was Chisholm’s (4-0, 1-0 2A-1) first against the Goldbugs in 10 tries, ending a nine-game losing streak dating back to 2001.
KREMLIN-HILLSDALE 48, GRACEMONT 0
OKEENE 14, FAIRVIEW
OKEENE — Scott Dobrinski scored two touchdowns in the second half as Okeene beat Fairview 14-7 in a key District A-1 matchup.
Brett Fast gave Fairview a 7-0 halftime lead with a 2-yard scoring run.
Dobrinkski scored on a 39-yard run in the third period then added the two-point conversion to put the Whippets up. He added a 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth period.
Okeene is 3-1 overall and 1-0 in district. Fairview is 1-3 and 0-1.
It was the third straight loss for the Yellowjackets, who will host Turpin next week. Okeene hosts Hooker.
KREMLIN-HILLSDALE 48, GRACEMONT 0
KREMLIN — Kremlin-Hillsdale evened its record with a 48-0 win over Gracemont.
The win boosts the Broncs to 2-2. They will play host to Claremore Christian next week.
SHARON-MUTUAL 60, TIMBERLAKE 12
MUTUAL — Cooper Free scored three touchdowns as Sharon-Mutual rolled to a 60-12 win over Timberlake.
Free scored on runs of 1, 92 and 28 yards. Justin Custer and Konner Harris each scored twice for the Trojans, who ended the game on the 45-point mercy rule in the third quarter.
BLUEJACKET 36, DCLA 6
LAMONT — Bluejacket won a District C-3 contest 36-6 over Deer Creek-Lamont.
Bryson Holeman scored the Eagles’ only touchdown on a 53-yard pass from Barry Bachman in the fourth quarter.
The loss drops DCLA to 1-3 overall and 1-2 in district.
WATONGA 56, CROSSINGS CHRISTIAN 55
Watonga beat Crossings Christian 56-55 in two overtimes.
The Eagles overcame a 28-7 halftime deficit to get the win.
Watonga improves to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in District A-3.
