EDMOND, Okla. —
Enid senior Colton Jackson broke 80 for the second time this season with a 78 at the Edmond Memorial golf tournament at Kickingbird Golf Club Tuesday.
Mason North had a season-best 80 as the Plainsmen finished 13th in the field with a team score of 333 Other EHS scores were Stephen Nicholas, 87; Scott Phillips, 88 and Michael Houston, 99.
“Colton and Mason had very solid days,’’ said Enid coach David Lee. “They both had a couple of three-putts they would like to have back.’’
Phillips and Houston were playing varsity for the first time.
“We’re still trying to find our most competitive lineup,’’ Lee said. “We have four guys competing for those two spots. We will continue to look at those guys for another week or two.’’
The Plainsmen’s next tournament is at Del City’s Trosper Park April 18.
The EHS girls play at Trosper Thursday.
