OU game to be
on pay per view
NORMAN — FOX Sports Oklahoma has announced participating program providers that will distribute Saturday’s football game between the University of Oklahoma and Louisiana-Monroe at 6 p.m. on pay-per-view. Suggested retail price is $39.95. The pay-per-view telecast will be available in high-definition.
Ron Thulin, Dave Lapham and former KCRC broadcaster Chad McKee (sideline) will call the Louisiana-Monroe game. The telecast begins with Sooner Gameday at 5 p.m., and following the game Sooner Sports Overtime will have postgame analysis and press conferences from OU coaches and student-athletes.
The game is being televised on pay-per-view as it wasn’t selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage.
The game will be available on a dedicated pay-per-view channel on participating Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas program providers, including Suddenlink Cable in Enid, and nationwide via participating satellite and telco distributors.
OSU soccer returns
home for Bedlam game
STILLWATER (AP) — Oklahoma State University’s soccer team is returning to action with a pair of night games this weekend.
The Cowgirls battle Bedlam rival Oklahoma in their 2013 home opener Friday before a Sunday showdown against Gonzaga.
The Cowgirls are coming off an 11-6-3 season in 2012 in which they finished seventh in the Big 12 Conference standings with a 1-4-3 mark. Eight starters return from that squad, led by senior Kristen Kelley and junior Miriam Rhinehart.
