ENID, Okla. — Enid eyes revenge

against Broncos



Enid’s baseball team will try to break a four-game losing streak at 1 p.m. today when it hosts the Oklahoma City Broncos at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

The Plainsmen (2-7) were swept by Union17-4 and 7-3 Friday night at home.

Enid is looking to avenge a 9-8 loss to the Broncos at the Taco Bell On The Border Tournament March 1 in Fort Smith, Ark.

The Plainsmen almost came back from an early 8-0 deficit, scoring two runs in the fifth and six in the sixth.

Cole Floyd had four RBI for the Plainsmen, including a bases-loaded triple. Jackson Walker and Jake Walker both went 2-for-3.

The Plainsmen will go to the Edmond Memorial Festival beginning Thursday.

Butler today postponed



Northern Oklahoma College Enid’s baseball team’s game with Butler scheduled for today has been postponed.

Butler had a conference game rained out Sunday, which will be made up today.

The Jets, 4-16, will visit Dodge City Community College for a 4 p.m. doubleheader Tuesday. The Jets will take off for spring break after that.
