ENID, Okla. —
Enid’s Mariah Wagner and Oklahoma Bible Academy’s Brooke Wayman have been named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State volleyball teams.
Wagner, a three-year starter for the Pacers, had 68 aces, 131 kills, 71 digs and 38 blocks in leading EHS to a 25-10 record. She was named to the Large School team.
“I’m very excited,’’ said Enid coach Steve Bloom. “She certainly deserves it. She has been a good leader on the court and has been a big part of our program the last three years. I just hate to see her graduate.’’
Wayman had 63 aces, 14 blocks and 381 digs in leading the Lady Trojans to the state tournament for the fourth straight season. She was named to the Small School team.
“I love it,’’ said OBA coach James Ward. “She certainly deserves it being a starter on four state tournament teams.’’
