Prairie League tryouts moved to Wednesday



Because of Enid’s involvement in the state tournament Monday, Prairie League (eighth and ninth grades) tryouts have been moved from today to Wednesday at NOC Enid’s Failing Park.

Enid High softball tryouts set to begin today

Enid High School girls in grades nine through 12 will have softball tryouts today and Tuesday at Pacer Field. The tryouts are from 4-6 p.m. each day. For information, call coach Lee Linsenmeyer at 234-2407.

EHS volleyball tryouts set for today and Tuesday

Enid High School volleyball tryouts will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Waller Junior High School.

There will be a meeting for junior high players (grades 7-8) May 19 at Waller.



MMGA tournament proceeds go to AHA



Meadowlake Women’s Golf Association will host its annual invitational tournament Tuesday. Proceeds from the tournament benefit American Heart Association.



Meadowlake will hold benefit golf tournament



A golf tournament benefiting the Kremlin-Hillsdale Academic Enrichment Foundation will be held Saturday at Meadowlake Golf Course.

It will be a four-person scramble with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Entry fee is $60 per person, which includes lunch. Prizes will be awarded.

Timberlake boosters to hold fundraiser

Registration is under way for the Timberlake Touchdown Club four-person scramble golf tournament Saturday at Pheasant Run Golf Club.

Lunch will be served at noon. Play begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Entry fee is $50 per person. Proceeds benefit the Timberlake football program.

4-H boosters golf tourney set for Saturday



Registration is under way for the Garfield County 4H-FFA Booster Club golf tournament May 18 at Turkey Creek Golf Course in Hennessey.

Entry fee is $200 per team or $50 per person. There will be two flights. Play begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
