Staff ace Shawn Epps will be on the mound today when Northern Oklahoma College Enid hosts arch rival NOC Tonkawa at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
Epps (3-3, 2.72 ERA) will start the first game of the Bi-State Conference doubleheader, which begins at 3 p.m.

All proceeds from the day go toward paying off an estimated $25,000 debt still owed for the $200,000 facility.
No admission will be charged, but brisket sandwiches and chicken nuggets will be served for $6. The meals will be served beginning at 4:30 p.m.
There also will be a silent auction from 2-6 p.m. that includes golf packages, movie and theater tickets, restaurant vouchers and much more. Silent auction items can be viewed by logging on to www.north-ok.edu. and clicking on Jets athletics. Bids on auction items also can be placed by phone by calling 548-0396.
Former big league baseball player, Oklahoma State quarterback and current sports radio host Jim Traber of The Sports Animal will broadcast his show from the stadium from 2-6 p.m. Traber’s show can be heard on WWLS (640 AM).
Today’s games will be taped by Pegasys for broadcast at a later date. Buck King will do the play by play and Rick Evans will do the commentary.
The Jets bring a 22-23 overall record and a 6-10 league mark into today’s action. NOC Tonkawa is 19-21, 2-14.
