Rapid response: Central National Bank customizing its services for its patrons

Central National Bank of Enid offers products to suit the needs of a fast-paced world, according to Tracy Anderson, vice president of retail at Central National Bank (CNB).

“Customers expect a fast response rate but they also crave exceptional service,” Anderson said. “The trends have moved to cell phones and constant access.”

According to Anderson, CNB strives to have the latest in technology to fit those customers who want to bank only by computer, but at the same time provide a human element for those who prefer it.

CNB’s Ultimate Checking Account is an option for customers that blends both the online and personal methods of banking.

“It’s unmatched in Enid,” Anderson said. “It’s a different way of banking.”

The service offers free Internet banking, debit card, bill pay and e-statements. It provides a higher than 0.15 percent annual percentage yield for accounts which meet certain monthly requirements.

Automated teller machine (ATM) fees also can be refunded with the service, which, according to Anderson, is a unique feature in the banking world.

“You don’t have to cringe anymore when you’re traveling and see the $2.50 or $3 fee required to pull your money out of an ATM,” Anderson said.

If receipts and a request form are brought in within 30 days, all ATM fees can be refunded.

The key word for banking today is “convenience,” said Anderson.

“It needs to be easier, but still make sense for the customer. CNB is unique because it’s a community bank that still offers the high touch service,” Anderson said.

CNB is beefing up its offerings for businesses with features like remote deposit capture — which allows businesses to scan checks and have them immediately electronically deposited. They also have payroll cards, which act as checking accounts for unbanked customers, flex spending cards and corporate expense cards.

Their remittance card, according to Anderson, provides Hispanics living in the U.S. with “an economical way to control and send their money back to their home country.”

CNB has three locations in Enid, including one at Vance Air Force Base, as well as branches in Bartlesville, Blackwell, Woodward and Mooreland. There are six CNB ATM locations in Enid.
