ENID, Okla. —
Seriously? After reading the front-page article on speeders in the Waverly Historic District, it got my blood boiling.
Who cares what residential district it is in? There are speeders in every residential area. I live on the east side of 16th on Park, and we have speeders every day flying down our street as well.
We have yelled “slow down” to many cars. We could use signs as well as the Waverly District. So what if it's a historic area? We take pride in how our home looks as well.
There are little children all over in all areas who could easily come out from behind cars and get hit by a speeding car.
Tell me a child on another side of town is not as important as one in Waverly District, Really?
I bet this doesn’t make your front page.
