Letter: The rest of the story

Enid News and Eagle

ENID, Okla. — We read with interest the article in the sports section of the Aug. 18 issue of your paper about a young man, Landon Nault, and his career in his high school football program at Kingfisher.

The article. which was well deserved, covered his athletic abilities.

But, the article didn’t tell it all.

We would like to comment on the integrity and work ethic of this young man, along with his brother, Logan, who also had an admirable record in sports at KHS and now is a student at OSU.

They have been our “lawn boys” since Logan was in junior high school and have been very dependable and responsible.

But, most of all, they are Christian young men, active and serving as junior deacons in the church where we are members, at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Kingfisher.

Their whole family is involved in the church, which shows the influence and character the boys have received from their parents.
