Letter: Newspaper biased against offenders

Enid News and Eagle

ENID, Okla. — I find it very biased from your newspaper’s perspective when printing the news of a recently accused offender.

Your insensitive approach consist of printing the offenders name, age and whatever else you deem worth to garner attention.

Does your newspaper report a retraction once it has been confirmed through the courts that the allegations were incorrect? I can’t recall any!

How many times does your newspaper turn a deaf ear to the total disregard and neglect Garfield County Detention treats their incarcerated inmates when it comes to mental health care?

Always will Enid residents be alerted from a competitive newspaper concerning allegations of civil rights misconduct in reference to case No. CIV-13-638-HE?
