Letter: Playing favoritism on cleanup notices

Enid News and Eagle

ENID, Okla. — I don’t know why some of us in the neighborhood can have tree branches laying in our yard for weeks at a time and others of us get a cleanup notice four days after we place the tree branches in our yard.

I don’t know why the city is turning a blind eye to the few in my neighborhood.

In the past five years I’ve been here, I’ve had two cleanup notices in my yard and the neighbors across the street each had one apiece. But, one of the neighbors to the north of us never gets one.

This neighbor even has more branches piled up than I did. Their limbs have been on the ground in a pile for better than a week. Makes me think somebody is playing favoritism.
