Enid News & Eagle
The AMBUCS community would like to express our gratitude to several organizations, individuals and businesses in and around our great city for all the help during the recent Trot 4 Trykes 5k. If it were not for the outpouring of support from our community friends and members, we would not be able to impact the lives of those who struggle with mobility and independence.
First off, thank you to the Enid News & Eagle for always supporting AMBUCS projects through advertisement, articles and specifically the “Get Out” section. We also want to recognize the city of Enid, especially the street department and Enid Police Department, for always giving of your time to make our run safe and successful.
Thank you again, Security National Bank, for your patience the morning of our event at your drive-through on Independence, along with all the Maine Street businesses.
Raising money is our No. 1 goal with these events, and that would not be possible with out our sponsors: Hiland Partners, Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Edward Jones, Groendyke Transport, Josh Davis, Mike and Jane Martin, Shear Inspirations, B&J Appliance, Collins & Butler, Ward Petroleum, American Red Cross, Chisholm Trail Broadcasting, PDQ Printing, Northwest Trophy & Awards, American Refrigeration & Heating, Bobsfarm Inc., J.A Benge Plumbing, Jackson Jewelers, Houston Promotions, Wheat Capital Running Co., and Ewbank Hennigh & McVay.
You probably see more runners out and about in town than in years past. A lot of that has to do with the growth of our city, but just as much so the work of the Enid Running Club.
I personally want to thank all the members of AMBUCS in District 5B. Also, to the run committee of Jane Martin, Karen Holland, Cindy McFarland, and Jason Benge: This run would not have happened without your work.
