WILL ROGERS’ DISPATCH
FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Dec. 3, 1926, The Hall-Mills jurymen turned in the verdict they had 25 days ago. For economy’s sake, if for nothing else, why don’t we let the jurymen render their verdict when they are sworn in instead of when they are sworn out. Yours for economic justice,
P.S. Of course we would miss the pictures of the trials, and I doubt if Americans would stand for that.

CHICAGO, Ill. — Dec. 5. 1926, Congress meets tomorrow morning. Let us all pray, Oh, Lord, give us strength to bear that which is about to be inflicted upon us. Be merciful with them, Oh Lord, for they know not what they are doing. Amen.

The President’s message comes tomorrow. That’s another day lost.
P.S. The farmers will get no relief before Wednesday — maybe late Wednesday.

UTICA, N. Y. — Dec. 7, 1926, Last week everybody was worrying about who would be King of Rumania. Good joke old Nick played on the whole family; he is just going to succeed himself.

WILL ROGERS FINDS A FLAW IN HIGH STANDARD OF LIVING TALK
NEW YORK, N. Y. — Dec. 9, 1926, Every official in the Government and every prominent manufacturer is forever bragging about our “high standard of living.” Why, we could always have lived this high if we had wanted to live on the instalment plan. Yours, Will.
WILL ROGERS HAS DINNER WITH ‘THE WET NURSE FOR MARYLAND’
BALTIMORE, Md. — Dec. 10, 1926, Just had dinner tonight with a guy that has every earmark of the next renter for the White House in case Cal don’t renew his lease. There ain’t but one thing will hold this fellow back and that ain’t much, but you know how voters are. He is a Democrat. He is now the wet nurse for Maryland.
Yours for likely prospects.
