Seniors from northwest Oklahoma schools to take next step on long journey

ENID, Okla. — åIt’s graduation time.

That means seniors across northwest Oklahoma are ending their high school careers and embarking on new adventures.

For many that means continuing their education, either at a college or university, or at a CareerTech school.

Others will enter the military or the work force full time now, joining the “real world.”

Regardless of what course they take, graduating from high school is an accomplishment — one of which the students and their families can be proud.

It wasn’t that long ago, the graduating seniors were wide-eyed kindergartners getting their first taste of going to school.

Now, they are young men and women ready to take on what life has to offer.

The same applies to those students graduating from college.

It’s been a long journey to get to this point.

Each milestone that has been passed is a great accomplishment.

We hope you all look back fondly on how you got to this point, and look ahead with anticipation to what is in front of you.

We wish all the graduates the best as they begin a new stage of their lives.

Whether it be continuing their education, joining the work force or joining the military, we urge them to give it their best.

Our word to new graduates is this: Keep striving to succeed.

Don’t settle for anything less than your best, and don’t let anyone try to force anything but the best on you.
