First Friday showcases best downtown square in Oklahoma

ENID, Okla. — You may be familiar with Black Friday or Freaky Friday, but you should really get to know First Friday if you don’t already.

Most Enid residents already enjoy the popular event featuring live music, dining and shopping that showcases the best downtown square in all of Oklahoma. The free event lasts from 6 to 9 p.m. (or later) on the first First Friday of each month.

Besides all the restaurants and First Friday shopping specials at most stores, tonight’s event has plenty of free stuff to offer, according to Main Street Enid:

The 2nd Story Downtown Gift Store will feature live music from Logan Watkins and apple cider.

B Hip Kids and Pearl Junkie will offer make-your-own s’mores for Save the Night, with proceeds going to Youth & Family Services. B Hip Kis will also have music by DJ 3d Soundz and Mustard Pie.

Brand Name Exchange celebrates its three-year anniversary party with refreshments, door prizes and karaoke.

Creative Arts Enid will offer refreshments and art for kids.

Downtown Kitchen Store will be having its grand opening with samples and door prizes.

Enid Live Well is doing demonstrations for mind fit and body wraps.

Felt Bird and For You! Boutique will serve refreshments.

Five80 Coffeehouse boasts live music by Jefferson Avenue Band.

At Gaslight Theatre, the Gaslight Cabaret will offer a preview of the holiday show “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.”

Grand Avenue Lighting/Conrady Electric will host a performance of “The Lamplighter” by Ann Ott in memory of Randy Conrady.

Laney’s Cupcake & Gourmet Sandwiches will feature mini cupcakes, fall soups, grilled cheese and music by Gary Bangs.

Soapweeds & Cactus will have live music by Those Guys.

The Turquoise Boutique will be celebrating its grand opening with refreshments.
