We live in a world gone mad. I don’t know how else to describe it.
When at a time that someone was considered gay, the idea was happy and fun loving, and the homosexual was by no means considered normal. We, mankind, were bound by the truth of God’s word, the Bible. The Bible was the source of all that was normal and all truth. The Ten Commandments given to Moses on Mount Sinai is the foundation for all the laws we have today.
As I look at the news and hear intellectuals debate what I consider common sense issues, it sends emotions of despair that we are raising children with the capacity to learn things beyond our comprehension but ignoring the simple truths that has formed our lives and made this country what it is.
Mr. Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty in his news interview singled out homosexual behavior as a sin God hates. He very well could have said, liars, adulterers, murders or any other action that the word reveals as sin. Why did he focus on homosexuals? I believe because it goes against every common sense belief he and we have about life, propaganda, not to mention what the Bible teaches about creation.
As I wrote, we were approaching Christmas Day, and my mind wondered what most people believe about Christmas. Why do we have Christmas? Was it not to celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ, the son of God.
If so, why did Jesus have to come to this earth? He came out of love for us. A love that defies description or comprehension. He came to die for sinners like, like Phil Robertson and all people that were born of women conceived by men. I believe that covers us all.
