Kudos: Thank you for donations during special offerings

ENID, Okla. — During the Christmas season, Central Christian Church took special offerings at our Cantata/Mixed Company concert and at our two Christmas Eve worship services. These offerings were given to local charities that provide food for people.

The donations received from the concert were $1,000 — $500 was given to Our Daily Bread, and $500 was given to Loaves and Fishes. The offerings at the Christmas Eve service totaled $545 and was given to Horn of Plenty.

In addition, during the Christmas season and at Central’s New Year’s in Rio, a community New Year’s Eve party, approximately 1,000 cans of food were donated to Horn of Plenty.

Central Christian Church would like to thank all of the people responsible for these events, the people in the community that attended and supported these offerings and the Enid News & Eagle for publicity.
