ENID — Judith Ann Mitchell died Thursday, June 13, 2013, in Perkins, OK. She was cremated upon her request, and a private family memorial service was held at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, OK.

Judy was born January 10, 1939, in Wichita, KS. She grew up in Wichita, moved to Florida for a brief time and settled in Enid, OK. She worked as a loan officer and banking vice president in Enid until her retirement.

Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Mitchell, and her son, Michael Wheeler.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Casey Wheeler of Clear Lake, TX; sister Virginia Thomas of Willits, CA; nieces and nephews, Cathy and Tyson Branyan of Cushing, OK, Mark Thomas and Pam Narjera of Belmont, CA, Joan Thomas and John Rule of Willits, CA, and Reid Thomas and Shaunna O’Callahan of Altadena, CA.; great-nephews and great-nieces, Tyler and Amber Branyan of Little Rock, AR, Rachel and Travis Dubose of Houston, TX, David Coons and Meranda Bernard of Stillwater, OK, and Josie Coons and Otto Hinchliffe of Willits, CA; and great-great nephew Liam Hinchliffe of Willits, CA.

Judy was a GREAT aunt even before she was a great-aunt!

The family would like to thank the staff of Red Bud Assisted Living in Perkins, OK, for their kind and compassionate care of Judy.

     De was born June 2, 1926, in Medford, the son of George Alexander and Myrtle Biby Hamilton. De graduated from Gore High School. He entered the U.S. Navy on July 3, 1944 and was discharged on June 13, 1946. After De returned to Medford, he and Emma Jean Carrier were married on Sept. 29, 1946, in Nash. De worked as a butcher and retired in 1989. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Medford and was ordained as a Deacon in 1951.

     Pauline was born April 8, 1924, at Butler, in Custer County, Okla., the daughter of Walter and Orla Baird Connolly. She and Loren E. Hopkins were married on Sept. 14, 1952, in Jet and they made their home in Jet, where she continued to live until April 16, 2014. She was a homemaker and caregiver who cared for others many times. Pauline was a member of the First Christian Church in Nash and also was a member of Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church. She was an active member of Jet Industrious Oklahoma Home and Community Education organization.
