ENID, Okla. —
A private graveside service for Jerryl Wayne Chodrick, 81-year-old former Enid resident, will be today, July 2, 2014. The Rev. Josh Byrd will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Jerryl was born June 13, 1933, in Enid, Okla., to John and Viola (Carter) Chodrick and died Monday, June 30, 2014, in his home in Norman, Okla.
On Aug. 1, 1950, he married Norma Wiens in Neosho, Mo. The couple made their home in Enid until 1972, when they moved to Norman.
Jerryl was a full-time National Guard member, retiring as sergeant major.
After his retirement from the guard he and his brother owned and operated a barber shop.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Webb and husband Lester of Norman, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Norma in 2002 and several siblings.
