ENID, Okla. —
Edith E. Rikli, 92, died peacefully at her home in Cambridge, Neb., on Friday, June 28, 2013. She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on July 20, 1920.
She was married to Alfred G. Rikli and enjoyed 64 years of marriage living in Murdock, Neb., Drummond, Okla., and more recently in Wilsonville and Cambridge.
Edith had many hobbies and interests, including cooking, sewing, gardening, bowling, golf and traveling. But most of all, she was a wonderful mother and homemaker, who was loved and adored by her family and by all who knew her.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred.
She is survived by her daughters, Roberta Rikli of Fullerton, Calif., and Deb Rikli of Placentia, Calif.; sons, Roger and wife Wanda of Lincoln, Neb., Ed and Jennifer of Lexington, Neb., and Stan of Vallejo, Calif.; four grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Marian Case of Naples, Fla.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today, July 3, 2013, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Cambridge, Neb.
