ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Thomas David LaMunyon, 90, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. today, March 22, 2013, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with Rev. Wade Burleson via video and Pastor Dan O’Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Service is under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. Graveside Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army.

Born to Henry S. and Lela Perry LaMunyon Oct. 19, 1922, in Ringwood, Tom passed from this life on Monday, March 18, 2013, in Enid.

Raised and educated in Ringwood, he received his diploma in 1941, from Ringwood High School.

After graduation, Tom was employed by the Civilian Conservation Corp., constructing Roman Nose State Park.

In 1943, the Army drafted him and he served in five major battles in the European Theater. His 137th Regiment was the second wave to land at Normandy and fought their way across France all the way to Berlin, serving under General Patton. Receiving the Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts, Tom was honorably discharged at the end of the war in 1945.

Tom and Dorothy J. Eck were married Nov. 30, 1946, at Central Christian Church in Enid.

Delivering propane for two years, Tom returned to Ringwood to farm, raise cattle and work in the post office, where he was a post Master.

In 1956, Tom, along with his family moved to Fairview, where he became a well-known and respected front end mechanic. Later in 1969, He and Ollie Eck, his brother-in-law and friend, opened E and L Auto and ran it until 1984, when he retired.

For over 60 years, Tom was a dedicated Mason, starting out in the Cleo Springs Lodge. Later he transferred to Fairview Masonic Lodge 377. Helping to establish and support new lodges with his knowledge of the Masons, He ended his life as a member of five lodges in Fairview, Ringwood, Hennessey, Waukomis and Enid Lodge 80.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy; son, Dana and wife Sherry of Enid; daughter, Marla Reames and husband Ronald of Fairview; grandchildren, Cari Owens of Owasso, Courtney Martens and husband Brent of Edmond, JPaul LaMunyon and wife Hope of Enid, and Amanda LaMunyon of Enid.

He was also blessed to know and love his four great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jordan Owens and Preston and Paxton Martens. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Grace Day, Hope Schardin Henry, Faith Keck, Jacquelyn Moore, and their spouses.

Memorials may be made to Fairview Masonic lodge 377 with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of funds.

    Deanna was born Sept. 4, 1940, in Hammon, Okla., to Dale Boone and Naomi “Toots” (Albright) Graybill and passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Weatherford Regional Hospital.
    Deanna was raised on the family farm in Leedey, Okla., where she attended Leedey Public Schools and graduated in 1958. She attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford and graduated with degrees in both business and mathematics.
    Deanna began her teaching career at Seiling Public Schools in 1961.

    Loren was born in Lovell on April 28, 1930, to Jack and Velma Sample Pollard and died Monday July 21, 2014, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid.
    He was a member of Marshall Masonic Lodge, Kingfisher County Cattlemen’s Association, and was on the board of directors of Kingfisher Bank and Trust.

    Our dear wife, mother and grandmother left us on Monday, July 21, 2014. Evelyn was the last of her family of John A. and Mary C. Fuxa.
    Also preceding her was Ernest who died in World war II, Henry, Virgil, Benny and Louise Conrady.
    She is survived by her loving husband, R.A. “Skeeter” and children, Linda and husband Randy Fuller of Enid and son, Dennis Traynor of Waukomis and friend Cindy Zaloudek of Tulsa. Evelyn’s grandchildren of whom she was so proud are Justin and Lauren Traynor of Yukon, Okla., Dr. Megan Traynor of Rochester, Minn., Allison Traynor RN and fiancee’ Cody Daniels of Edmond, Okla., and Stephen Fuller of Oklahoma City.
    Evelyn was born Aug. 11, 1931, in Bison, Okla., and graduated from Wakoumis in 1947. She was basketball homecoming queen, played sports and helped work the family farm.

    Funeral for Gerald E. Murray, 75-year-old Enid resident, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Vernon Lee will officiate. Burial will follow at Enid Cemetery.
    Gerald was born Sept. 12, 1938, in Enid, Okla., to Lee and Jesse (Campbell) Murray and died Monday, July 21, 2014, at his home in Enid.
    At age 16, Gerald started working for the Frisco Railroad, which later became Burlington Northern. He served in many capacities with the railroad, retiring after 38 years of service.
    He served in the National Guard.
    On Aug. 24, 1959, he married Lois Colvard in Aurora, Mo. The couple made their home in Enid, where he attended Gospel Light Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman, liked playing card games and listening to music. But he mostly enjoyed spending time with his family.

    Funeral service for Duglas Earl Roach, 68, of Dacoma, will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at Wharton Funeral Chapel, Alva, followed by a private interment.
    Duglas Earl of Dacoma, Okla., was born to Vynone (Pullan) and Floyd Roach on August 8, 1945 in Alva, Okla. He passed away on July 19, 2014, in Oklahoma City at the age of 68 years, 10 months and 11 days.
    Duglas attended The Alva School System until he joined the Army on Sept. 11, 1962, later receiving his GED while with USAR Control GP (Reinforcement) USA Admin Center St. Louis, Mo., and Btry A 4th Msl Bn (MH) 7th Arty Bergstrom AFB Texas ARADCOM and was discharged on Sept. 30, 1965.
    On July 3, 1992, he was married to Clara Mathews in Globe, Ariz.
