— The funeral for David Curtis Howell will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bob Banks will officiate. Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery, Breckinridge.
He was born April 5, 1951, in Wichita, Kan., to Benjamin and Bertha Cook Howell, and died Friday, June 26, 2009, in Oklahoma City.
He worked as a tool pusher and driller at Bronco Drilling. He married Ginger Acree Jan. 9, 1979, in Enid. He was a member of Madison Avenue Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ginger, of the home; his children, Aaron Brown of Oklahoma City and Amber Jordan of Sand Springs; five sisters, Linda Pierce, Sharon Nickerson, Brenda Howell and Karen Howell, all of Kansas, and Debra Howell of Enid; three brothers, Rodney Howell of Enid, Douglas Howell of Cheney, Kan., and Michael Howell of Enid; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Integris Baptist Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute.
