— The funeral for Frank Jordan, 77, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Newlight Missionary Baptist Church. Larry G. Featherstone, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin. Arrangements are by Russworm Funeral Home, Enid.
He was born Feb. 5, 1932, in Eppes, Ala., to Sam and Viola Jordan and died Thursday, June 25, 2009, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Enid.
He served in the Air Force from May 1951 until October 1955. He later worked as a contract laborer for Longwell & Scott as well as the Sante Fe Railroad until his retirement.
Surviving are his wife, Helen M. Jordan, of Enid; two daughters, Jeri Neal of Enid and Dora Henley Smith of Oklahoma City; one son, David Carr of Enid; one brother, Sam Jordan of Alabama; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters.
