— The funeral for Ella Bea Magee, 75, of Seiling, will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2009, at Elm Grove Community Church, Seiling. Pastor Orville White will officiate. Burial will be in Brumfield Cemetery, Seiling. Arrangements are by Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.
She was born April 12, 1934, northwest of Chester to Steve and Vera Crook Shuck and died Friday, June 26, 2009, at Seiling Municipal Hospital.
She was raised in Chester, attended Elm Grove School and graduated from Richmond High School in 1952.
She married Alvin Magee Jan. 28, 1956, in Seiling, where they made their home. She worked as a nurse aide at Seiling Nursing Home for several years and was a waitress at Chester Café, Brownies Café and Shamrock Café.
Surviving are her husband, Alvin, of Seiling; one sister, Roberta Koehn of Yukon; four brothers, Jim Shuck of Garland, Texas, Charles Shuck of Oklahoma City, George Shuck of Paris, Ark., and Jerry Shuck of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter and two brothers.
