— The funeral for Betty J. McHenry, 70, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul Hass will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born Sept. 11, 1937, in Enid to Leonard and Lillie Mae Steinert Leavengood and died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at The Commons.
She graduated from Pioneer High School in 1955. She attended Enid Business College for two years. She was a homemaker and later worked for Western Uniform and Towel Service.
She married Jerry McHenry Sept. 29, 1957, in Enid. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, Jerry, of the home; one daughter, Veta J. Wheeler of Enid; four sons, David, Timothy and Ronald, all of Enid, and Mark of Edmond; two brothers, Tom Leavengood and Larry Leavengood, both of Enid; one sister, Virginia Loesch of Fairmont; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Paul’s Lutheran School.
