A memorial service for Norma Jean Weist, 64, will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2008, at Oakwood Christian Church. Pastor Clyde Irving and Mike Ransom will officiate. Arrangements are by Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.
She was born May 18, 1943, in Thomas to Ralph Ronald and Edna Nellie Taylor Hale and died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Seiling Municipal Hospital.
She attended 12 years of school at Oakwood, graduating in 1961. She was a homemaker and worked as a cook for nursing homes.
Surviving are two daughters, Angie Crowder of Oakwood and Deana Lorenzo of Palm Coast, Fla.; one sister, Kaye Hale of Glendale, Ariz.; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Ross Health Care Hospice.
