A graveside service for George R. “Curly” Cohlmia, 72, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2008, in Memorial Park Garden Chapel. Steve Spencer will officiate. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
He was born April 3, 1936, in Selman to Richard and Edna Cohlmia and died Friday, May 2, 2008, in Northwest Specialty Hospital.
He graduated from Enid High School in 1954. He served in the National Guard. He worked for a time at Hackney Steel, then worked for the city of Enid in the sanitation department.
Surviving are his daughter, Kim; four sisters, Dorothy Harkin, Darlien Kamas, Dolores Naifeh and Jean Cohlmia; and three grandchildren.
