— The funeral for Nathan McKyle “Whitebuffalo” Hawkins, infant, of Watonga will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Whirlwind Mission of the Holy Family. The Revs. Jim Kee-Rees, Gerald Panana and David Flick will officiate. Burial will be in Watonga Indian Cemetery. Arrangements are by Nichols Funeral Home, Fairview.
He was born March 22, 2008, in Oklahoma City to Samantha Black and Alex Kish Hawkins and died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Watonga Municipal Hospital, Watonga.
Surviving are his parents, Samantha Black and Alex Kish Hawkins of Watonga; grandparents, John Paul Black, Esther Tahdooahnippah and Richard Hawkins; great-grandparents, Jasper and Mary Redhat, Patricia Oldbear-Tahdooahnippah and Cornel Tahdooahnippah.
