— The funeral for Maxine Terry, 79, of Hennessey, will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2008, at Hennessey Church of Christ. Paul Wolvoord will officiate. Burial will be in Hennessey Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. The casket will remain closed at the funeral home and church.
She was born Aug. 22, 1928, at Vidor, Texas, to John and Myrtie Burrell Hartwick and died Friday, May 2, 2008, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Enid.
She married James M. Terry in Port Neches, Texas, in 1945. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Hennessey Church of Christ.
Surviving are three daughters, Kathy Turner and Debbie Smith, both of Hennessey, and Lisa Terry of Dover; two sons, Jimmy Terry of Hennessey and David Terry of Dover; one brother, Donald Hartwick of Beaumont, Texas; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, James, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, one brother and two sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Church of Christ mission work.
