Funeral services for William M. Breckner, 80-year-old Enid resident, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Alvin Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
William was born March 17, 1928, in Mooreland, OK the son of William Breckner and Margaret (Green) Breckner and died Saturday, April 26, 2008, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
William served in the United States Air Force. He joined on Feb. 9, 1946, and was honorably discharged in January 1949. After his military service he went to work at George E. Failing as a shop superintendent until his retirement. He was a member of the House of Prayer Church.
He is survived by a loving wife of 43 years, Delphia �Scotty� Breckner, of the home; three sons, William �Billy� Breckner Jr. of New York, Michael William Breckner and Michael David Breckner of Stillwater, OK; two stepdaughters, Brenda Glasscock and Linda McElfresh of Enid, OK; five grandchildren, Taber Adkins, Melinda Adkins, Meghan Cawlfield, Eric Breckner and Michael Patrick Breckner; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
