Geraldine Hart Rhodes

— Geraldine Hart Rhodes went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, April 25, 2008. Gerry was born in Enid, OK on July 25, 1922, to Geneva and Mason Hart. She was the fourth of five children in a loving and caring family. She grew up in Enid, OK and graduated from Enid High School in 1940. Gerry was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and wife. Many of her activities revolved around her family as she raised her four children. She loved volunteer work and spent many hours volunteering for the hospital auxiliary, elementary schools, and church clubs.
Gerry was united in marriage to Kenneth Noah Domnick in 1941, and lived for many years in Tulsa and Stillwater. In 1976, Gerry married William “Bill” Rhodes and resided in Canoga Park, CA; Boulder City, NV; and Sapulpa, OK. Gerry delighted in family gatherings and welcomed any and all opportunities to be with her children and grandchildren.
Gerry is survived by her children: Dannye Sue Domnick of Tulsa, OK, Darrel Domnick and wife Ellen of Stillwater, OK, David Domnick and wife Nicole of Sarasota, FL, Debbie Snider of Jenks, OK, Gail Miner and husband Monte of Palos Verdes, CA, and William Rhodes of Santa Clarita, CA. She was the grandmother of Kellye Johnson and husband Todd of Tulsa, Kristye McKinney and husband Chuck of Sapulpa, and Kerrye Morrison and husband Michael of Jenks, Darbi Sefcik of Stillwater, Ryan Domnick and wife Jill of Lawrence, KS, Noah Domnick of Stillwater, Beau Snider and wife Laynie of Edmond, Zach Snider and Luke Snider, both of Jenks, and Max Miner of Palos Verdes, CA. Sisters, Dorothy Mason of Edmond and Jody Bernhardt Hayes of Stillwater.
Graveside service will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Green Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, Sapulpa, OK. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church.
A donation can be made in Gerry’s honor to the Asbury Church Foundation in lieu of flowers.
