EASTIN, Lois, 70, Enid. Service pending with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.



JACK BUSTER LOUGHMAN

The funeral for Jack Buster Loughman, 86, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Steve Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Ladu-sau-Evans Funeral Home.

He was born June 7, 1920, in Enid to Charles and Linnie Ingraham Loughman and died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007.

He was raised in Enid and graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1939. He served in the Army during World War II in Puerto Rico. He married Mamie Yocham Aug. 18, 1943, in Enid. He farmed and worked for Walker Electric for over 60 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 1141 for over 55 years and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2270.

Surviving are his wife Mamie; daughter, Pat Douglass of Enid; one son, Jack David Loughman of Los Gatos, Calif.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by seven sisters and one brother.

LESLIE PAUL BODE

The funeral for Leslie Paul Bode, 50, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Harvest Time Worship Center. Carl Roberts, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Fairmont. Arrange-ments are by Hennin-ger-Allen Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

He was born Sept. 16, 1956, in Enid to Henry M. and Ethel E. Gerken Bode and died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, in St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He was a graduate of Garber High School. He worked for Gold Spot Dairy and later for R J Metals, a division of Central Machine and Tool. He married Karen Pence Sept. 30, 1989, in Fairmont. They made their home in Enid. He was a member of Harvest Time Worship Center, FFA and a lifetime member of American Wheelchair Bowling Assoc-iation.

Surviving are his wife Karen, of the home; three brothers, Deryle Bode of Pinesville, La., William Bode of Germantown, Md., and Philip Bode of Houston.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to American Wheelchair Bowling Association.

LIDDIE NEOMA HOLADAY

A graveside service for Liddie Neoma Holaday, 95, of Kingfisher, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Pryor Cemetery, Pryor. The Rev. Derrick Lynch will officiate. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Service, Kingfisher.

She was born July 27, 1911, in Peggs to Charles and Maybelle Wilson Williams and died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, in First Shamrock Care Center.

She married William W. Holaday May 25, 1942.

Surviving are one son, Charles J. Smith of Kingfisher; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers, three sisters, one granddaughter and two great-granddaughters.



RICHARD DAVID FLOOD

The funeral for Richard David Flood, 67, will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Kingfisher. The Rev. James Swain will officiate. Burial will be in Kingfisher Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Service, Kingfisher.

He was born Jan. 26, 1939, to Richard E. and Mary Montgomery Flood and died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, in Oklahoma City.

He graduated from El Reno Junior College in 1977 and Central State in 1981. He began working for Peoples National Bank on June 12, 1960 and retired 43 years later on June 12, 2003. He married Carolyn R. Lietzke Feb. 26, 1960. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Kingfisher where he was a Sunday school teacher, deacon and trustee.

He was the current mayor of Kingfisher. He was a past member of American Bankers Association Regional Advisory Committee and past member of American Bankers Association Installment Lending School Board, three years.

He was a member of Rotary Club, where he was a Paul Harris Fellow, secretary four years, bulletin editor four years and president; Chisholm Trail Museum life membership and treasurer; Horizon past treasurer and past president; Redlands Alumni and Friends, lifetime member and president 1994-1995; Higher Education Council of Oklahoma 1993-1994; and Kingfisher Development Foundation board. He also was active in 4-H and FFA and a lifetime member of FFA.

Surviving are one son, Richard Edward Flood of St. Charles, Mo.; one daughter, Mary Ruth Flood of Oklahoma City; one brother, Charles Edward Flood of Verden; and two grandchildren.



CHARLES PRICE

A graveside service for Charles Price, 86, of Enid, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Wade Burleson will officiate. Arrange-ments are by Hennin-ger-Allen Funeral Home.

He was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Newart, Ohio, to Charles M. and Clara Hupp Price and died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, in Enid.

He married Pauline M. Woolery in 1947 in Granville, Ohio. He worked for a funeral home before moving to Enid. He worked as an electrican technician for G.E. Failing Co. in Enid for a number of years. He served as mess staff sergeant in the Army from 1938 until 1944. He was stationed in Germany for some time and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a charter member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Enid.

Surviving are one stepson, Jerry K. Phelps of Tucson, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline K. Price in 2001.

JIMMY EDWARDS

The funeral service for Jimmy (Jim) Edwards, 70, of Enid, will be held today, Feb. 10, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ken Bowlin will officiate. Burial will be Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, at 1 p.m. in Mountain Park Cemetery, Mountain Park, Okla.

He was born Oct. 26, 1936, in Nuyaka, Okla. to Isom and Cynthia Smith Edwards, and went home to Jesus on Feb. 8, 2007.

He attended school in Nuyaka and Rocky Hill, Okla. He served in the Army from July 1956 to June 1958. He married Louise Murdock in Okmulgee, Okla. He worked electrical high line service for 40 years. He had worked in Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. He moved to Enid in 1998 where he bought his home and retired.

Jim enjoyed fishing, playing with the little kids and sports. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Enid.

He is survived by three children, Joyce Bowlin of Chanute, Kan., Nancy Carter of London, Ky., and Penny Snow Stonehocker of Enid, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lou Benzel of Glenpool, Okla., Ruby Terrell of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Billie Hampton of Grandview, Texas; five brothers, Carl Edwards of Bates, Ark., Jack Edwards of Harrah, Okla., David Edwards of Jacksonville, Ore., Tom Edwards of Brandon, Fla. and Roy Edwards of Chandler, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Louise (Lou) Edwards; two sons, James Gambel and Michael (Mike) Murdock; one brother, Paul Edwards; and two sisters, Dorothy Davis and Madi Morrison.

BERNICE BRAKHAGE

The funeral for Bernice Brakhage, 81, will be held today, Feb. 10, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Marilyn Murray will officiate. Burial will be in Me-morial Park Cemetery.

She was born June 5, 1925, in Burrton, Kan., to Jake and Amelia (Becker) Koehn and died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, in The Commons.

The family moved to Enid in 1925. She married Alvin Brakhage on Oct. 20, 1946, in Enid. He died Jan. 18, 1984. She was a member of the First Assembly of God.

She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Garren of Norman, Okla., Connie Easterly of Enid, Cathy Fuller of Katy, Texas; two sons, Ron Brakhage of Oklahoma City, Don Brakhage of Fairmont, Okla.; two sisters, Ruby Koehn of Meno, Mildred Koehn of Wichita, Kan.; three brothers, Orville Koehn of Enid, Leonard Koehn of Baxter Springs, Kan., Howard Koehn of Newton, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby, Virgil and Marvin.

Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.

JANIS K. GOBLE

Janis K. Goble, 69, retired RN, died Feb. 8, 2007. Funeral service is today, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. at Westlink Christian Church. Graveside services are today, 2:30 p.m. in Wakita Cemetery, Wakita, Okla.

She was preceded in death by parents, Ray and Dorothy Rapp and sister, Charlotte Parsons.

Survivors are her husband Ed, of 47 years; sons, Bryan and wife Lissa of Keller, Texas and Lance and wife Ronni of Ft. Worth, Texas; daughter, Kathy Manning and husband Butch of Wichita; grandchildren, Danny Goble, Kevin Goble, Sydney Hicks and Kylie Goble.

She loved and was loved by all her family and friends. She was an inspiration to others because of her loving, caring attitude.

A memorial has been established with Mary Crowley Medical Research Center, Attn: Breast Cancer Research Fund, 1717 Main St., 60th floor, Dallas, TX 75201.

Reception following graveside at Wakita Christian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Mortuary of Wichita.
