KHS students recognized

The Kremlin Lions Club has selected KHS junior Ryan Voth and senior Christina Meyer as the September and October Students of the Month. The students are nominated by their teachers based upon their academics, leadership, community involvement and extracurricular activities.

Congratulations to the Pride of KHS Drum Major and trumpeter D.J. Toelle for being selected to the Oklahoma 2A-3A-4A All State Band. The performance is scheduled for 3 p.m. Feb. 16 at Oklahoma City University.

The November Elementary Star Students are: Maesyn Winningham (pre-K), Ally Neal (kindergarten), Laila Easley (first grade), Ty Neal (second grade), Jada Winters (third grade),  Kyrah Cook (fourth grade), and Kenna Lam (fifth grade).

The KHS Bronc Booster Club will sell Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough during all home basketball games. The dough is pre-portioned, which means no thawing, mixing or scooping. Flavors available are Chocolate Chip, M&M, Triple Chocolate Chunk, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Butter Sugar Cookies, Cranberry Oatmeal and Brownies. Kremlin-Hillsdale High School will host an Oklahoma Blood Institute Community Blood Drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 12, in the gym lobby. Each donor will receive a T-shirt, health screenings and donor reward points. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call OBI at 233-9323.

The All School Christmas Program is slated for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 17 in the new gym.



Community

The Kremlin Home Culture HCE Club met Saturday for brunch and secret pal gift exchange. They made plans to attend Achievement Day at the OSU Extension office on Jan. 19.
